Confronted to the problem of illicit traffic of cultural goods Algeria will be reorganized and endowed with national and international legal and normative instruments, and since 2005 operational mechanisms were adopted for effective control on the territory, this strategy was accompanied by awareness campaigns addressed to the public, which happens to be sometimes double-edged and works against the protection.

It is within this framework that this cooperation is inscribed, around a strategic objective for us which is the preservation and enhancement of museum and library collections, through the digitization and the support that we can bring to all defenders of memory in the fight against illicit trafficking in cultural property.
